SPEAKER'S PROFILE:

Elsie Reyes is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Asian (World) Center for Missions, the missions arm of Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) Asia since April 2001. As ACM’s EVP & COO, Elsie is responsible for the oversight of eight (8) missionary training centers throughout the Philippines

In 2002 she was awarded CBN International President’s Award for Excellence. This was in recognition of her outstanding performance as ACM’s EVP and COO demonstrating innovation, integrity and excellence. In March 28, 2007 she was recognized as Alumnus of the year by the Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries (ASCM) for her dedication and faithfulness to the ministry, the Church and to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

She served for 2 years as the sole female Board Member of the Philippine Missions Association (PMA) the missions commission of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC) and served in the capacity as Board secretary for one year.

As a missions mobilizer, Elsie has spoken in various missions conferences and gatherings throughout the Philippines and has had opportunities to speak abroad including countries like Japan, Singapore, and United States. Some of the topics she spoke of in these gatherings are: Why Missions? Why Filipinos in Missions?, Working and Ministering among Hindus, God’s love: the reason for our suffering in the hands of the wicked, etc.

She is an adjunct faculty member at the Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries located in Makati City. She also regularly teaches modular courses on Leadership, Cross-Cultural Anthropology and Missionary Life in the missionary training program of ACM

She served as a missionary teacher at the Madras Theological Seminary and College in India and spearheaded the planting of an indigenous church among the Tamils from October 1995 to October 2000.

In May 2007 she completed her PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA USA. She obtained her Masters in Christian Ministries specializing in Missions and Christian Education at ASCM in March 1992 with a 4.0 GPA. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education in October 1986 from the University of Nueva Caceres, Naga City, Philippines.
